How do I create a Power BI dashboard from Revit?
Upload a Revit model or connect an accessible Autodesk-hosted model in Frame. Once its analytics data is ready, generate a report template, open it in Power BI Desktop, and complete the connection prompts.
Which Power BI templates can I use?
The gallery includes starter, model health, clash, and ACC issues templates, plus custom quantity and cost examples. Each page explains the supported sources, required inputs, and access. Custom examples may require additional report design and project data.
Does the dashboard refresh automatically?
Source synchronization, Frame data preparation, and Power BI refresh are separate stages. Check the required model version or issue data in Frame before refreshing the report. Scheduled refresh also depends on Power BI credentials and access to each source.
