Inputs and access

You need a Revit model in Frame, an Autodesk Model Checker export for the same model revision, Power BI Desktop, and access to the model-health template. The report reads check results; it does not run Model Checker or invent missing checksets. Preview the public report above before choosing a Frame plan.

Set up the model-health dashboard

  1. Run your chosen Model Checker checkset in Revit and export its results.
  2. Open the matching model in Frame and prepare its report data.
  3. Generate the model-health template and open the .pbit file in Power BI Desktop.
  4. Set the export-file parameter to your local checker workbook. Confirm the expected Files, Checks, and Elements sheets are present.
  5. Refresh and compare the report’s pass/fail totals with the checker export.
  6. Inspect a known failing element in the Viewer. Unmatched IDs can indicate the wrong model revision or a missing element, not a passed check.

Family analysis needs the corresponding family data. When the model changes, rerun the checker and refresh both inputs. A local workbook path also needs a suitable refresh arrangement if you later publish to Power BI Service.

Frame does not compute the health rules — your checksets stay in Model Checker. The template is how their output stops being a spreadsheet and starts being a work list.

Datasets in this report

Checks
Checkset title, author, description, overall result, and pass, fail, error, and not-run counts, read from the Model Checker export.
Elements
Per-element check results — check ID, element ID, category, family, type, value, and count.
Elements_With_Families
Element results joined to family size, for finding the families that dominate model weight.
FRAME_Assets
Frame's element table, so failing checks can be located in the embedded model viewer.
