Clash Report

Clash results, past the XML.

Who owns it, how long it has been open, and whether coordination is actually converging.

Clash Detective tells you what intersects. It does not tell you whether coordination is converging, which discipline is holding things up, or how long the same clash has been sitting unapproved.

How it’s made

Frame reads the Clash Detective XML you export — it does not run the detection. Point the local template at a file on your machine and nothing leaves it. Upload each export instead and Frame stamps every snapshot with its date, version, and name, then merges them.

How Frame builds it

One export, or every export

Keep it local Clash XML exported from Navisworks Local template a file path, no upload One snapshot re-export to refresh Or upload each cycle Every export one per coordination run Frame stamped, then merged Aggregated cycle over cycle
Frame does not run clash detection — it reads what Clash Detective exports. Uploading each cycle is what turns a pile of tests into a trend.

That merge is what the Clash Aggregated page runs on: whether the count is genuinely falling or just moving between tests, which clashes have survived every review, how long results sit before approval. Each clash carries its coordinates and the elements involved, so the report puts it in the viewer, colour-coded by status.
